For 15 years, including the pandemic years, the International Şefika Kutluer Festival has been going on without a break, has become institutionalized and is followed with interest by art lovers; Şefika Kutluer, who is both the organizer of the festival and the soloist of most of the concerts, has been bringing artists, orchestras and conductors from many countries to our country by using the relations she has established internationally for years….
Started in 2010 in Ankara, the “International Şefika Kutluer Festival” expanded to different cities in Anatolia in the following years; There have been colorful performances, exhibitions and presentations from many countries such as Germany to Russia, China to Mexico, Korea to Greece, Austria to the USA, Portugal to Luxembourg, Khakassia to Slovenia, Serbia to Czechia, Kosovo to Kazakhstan, Switzerland to Montenegro, Poland to Lithuania, England to France, Albania to Israel and Spain.
The International Şefika Kutluer Festival was selected 1st in the “Best Festival” category at the “Ace of MICE Awards 2020”, which is considered the Oscar of the event industry.
Şefika Kutluer, who has many international awards, ranked first in the world at the International Flute Competition in Vienna.
Kutluer was the first artist to receive the Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Prize. Kutluer, known as the “Magic Flute” with the title written by the New York Times critics, was awarded the title of State Artist in 1998.
Şefika Kutluer is the Flute Soloist of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
She was awarded “Best Classical Music Interpreter” in Russia and received the “Bravo Golden Award”. On April 25, 2023, Şefika Kutluer gave a concert accompanied by the Bolshoi Theatre Symphony Orchestra.
She received “Golden Medal of the Italian State” from the President of Italy,
“Austrian Golden State Order of Merit” from the President of Austria,
“Kazakhstan State Golden Medal of Culture” and
She received the Slovak State Gold Medal.
She won the 2000 “Inter-Lyra” award from the “Hungarian Foundation for Performing Arts”.
In 2012, she was selected as Unicef’s “Goodwill Ambassador”.
