The concert program will feature music inspired by Pink Floyd, A. Piazzolla, J. S. Bach, D. Balakrishnan, Ch. Corea, J. Zavinula, Sting, Led Zeppelin, D. Anger, F. Sinatra and other famous composers and groups of the world.

Have you ever heard how amber sounds? What’s going to happen in this winter in the sky of culture for anyone could be totally unexpected! “Amber Quartet” is the only internationally well-known virtuosos’ quartet of Lithuania, playing with exclusive string instruments made of genuine amber.

Amber is appreciated not only in our country, but also in the all over the world. It is a symbol of strength and love, which in its magical sense holds all secrets of the Baltic Sea. The public will be able to see and hear at the “Amber Quartet” concert not only these peculiarities of amber, but recognise even more colourful pictures.

Famous music professionals, violin virtuosos Vytautas Mikeliunas and Tadas Desukas, violin alto Tomas Petrikis and cellist Onutė Svabauskaite gathered in the “Amber Quartet”.

“We are very excited to present the concerts of this group to the audience in particular. During the concerts, four distinguished musicians make the miracle with a history of millions years, and string instruments spoke with totally new and unexpected colors, “says Gintaras Kamsiukas, the Director and Producer of ARTS Libera International.

The idea to produce these wonderful instruments, which could be undoubtedly called the world masterpiece of art, arose for the well-known Lithuanian amber jeweler and Designer Sarunas Davainis. All these amber instruments hold copyright certificates of the European Union intellectual property and are unique in terms of their technical performance and sound.

The concerts promise to music lovers and gourmets an unforgettable journey through the amber and music world, unexpected improvisations, arrangements specially made for amber instruments and a whole palette of music sounds.
