“WORLD PREMIER PERFORMANCE”

The 7th edition of the festival that is organized on the name of internationally acclaimed flutist named as “the Magic Flute” will be held between the 2nd and 20th of December 2016 in Istanbul and Ankara.

On December the 4th at the Yenimahalle Nazım Hikmet Cultural Center, as the opening concert of the festival in Ankara, Austrian Tutti Mozart Orchestra under the baton of Vinicius Kattah will accompany Kutluer on a whole Mozart program.The surprise of this year’s festival, is the “World Premier” performance of the recently found flute concerto, which the orchestration was made by Mozart. The announcements about this never performed flute concerto started in Vienna in November. After the world premier concert in Istanbul Zorlu Center on December the 2nd the performance of this “Mozart – Wendlin Flute Concerto”, which had never been performed since it was written 239 years ago, is to be repeated in Ankara.

Şefika Kutluer who was decorated with the Austrian State Medal had lived in Vienna for her “masters degree” studies and had won an international flute competition during the first years of her career. She had studied with the best Mozart instructor Werner Tripp and the best Mozart interpreter conductor Sir Charles Mackerass had praised her after their performances together. Kutluer’s “Mozart” CD was chosen as one of the best of the year in USA.
