ŞEFİKA KUTLUER GAVE CONCERTS FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS AT OUR NEW UNESCO-PROTECTED TOWNS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE “ONE CONTAINER HOUSE FROM US” PROJECT.
World-renowned flute virtuoso, Unicef Goodwill Ambassador, Magic Flute Şefika Kutluer gave two concerts in Sivrihisar at the Surp Yerortutyun Church and in the ancient city of Gordion, the magnificent archaeological site of Ankara, which was recently added to the “UNESCO World Heritage List”.
Şefika Kutluer, as an artist born in Ankara, gave two concerts on Sunday, October 22nd in order to crown the work she has done for these towns.
After giving the concert in Gordion, the center of the famous Midas legend, Şefika Kutluer played at the Surp Yerortutyun Church in Sivrihisar on the same day and contributed to the container house project for earthquake victims with the proceeds of these concerts.
After Gordion was placed under Unesco protection, the second good news from Unesco came soon after, and Turkey’s five famous mosques with wooden ceilings and wooden supports from the Seljuk period, including Ankara’s centuries-old Arslanhane Mosque, the Great Mosque in Sivrihisar, Eşrefoğlu Mosque in Konya, Mahmut Bey Mosque in Kastamonu, and the Great Mosque in Eskişehir- Afyonkarahisar, were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In 5 continents, Kutluer represents our country by giving concerts in countless countries. As the Goodwill Ambassador of Unicef, Kutluer is involved in activities for the children of the world and has been giving charity concerts on every occasion for many years.
